On December 30, 2020, the Mustang Park Townhomes Residential Community Association sued CB JENI Homes DFW, CB JENI Mustang Park and related parties, alleging defective design and construction at the 177-unit Carrollton project—including warped roofs, roof and window leaks, water damage, broken or fogged windows, ponding, drainage problems and cracked flatwork—and seeking more than $1 million; the filing records allegations, not an adjudicated finding, and no later resolution was established in the retrieved material.
